Full exhibition halls, crowds of people and happy faces at the exhibition stands – 22,000 visitors attended SachsenKrad and the e-bike days 2019, repeating last year's record number of visitors. From January 11 to 13, the e-bike days in Hall 2, which took place at the same time as the motorcycle show, presented the numerous facets of electric mobility. The latest innovations and new models for the season were presented, ranging from compact folding bikes to sporty e-mountainbikes and electric cargo bikes. The FLYER brand was represented for the first time as a manufacturer with a large presentation. Marcus Schmidt from the Swiss e-bike pioneer draws an initial conclusion: “The quality of the audience here at the e-bike days was very good, and we were satisfied with the number of visitors. From an organizational point of view, everything went well and we will be back next year.” A large indoor test track from ExtraEnergy offered the opportunity to test ride e-bikes for the first time in Germany, where a wide range of riding experiences could be experienced. The trend towards individualizing one's own bike to reflect one's personal attitude to life was once again evident at the e-bike days. Alongside the latest innovations and product developments, visitors were also able to see some extraordinary custom bikes. The next e-bike days will be held at Messe Dresden from January 17 to 19, 2020.
